No project could exist today without fellow community members rallying around and supporting it. Take a look below at projects in need of leads and volunteers!

SUPPORT

Support can look different than volunteering for events and a lot can be done from home. If you would like to support a Local Links project from home, please email us and we can find opportunities for you!

Available Projects

AFFINITY PODS

There are a core group of Affinity Pods and there will be special themed pods randomly throughout the year. We need someone who is able to create group chats for affinity members to join and host / encourage others to host FREE meetups.

NEIGHBORHOOD CONNECTIONS

There is a surprising amount of work that goes into even a simple neighborhood block party. Many members of the community are not aware of what paperwork needs to be completed, what insurance might be needed, etc. Or how to create and/or connect at Neighborhood Association Meetings.

SINGLE MINGLES

Host some Single Mingles around the community with local businesses!!! This is one of the top things the community has been asking for more of.

CROSS GENERATIONAL EVENTS

Local Links has yet to host a cross-generational event. The polarization between generations leaves holes where wisdom and history can be lost. These events will be partnering with local businesses, retirement homes, youth groups, and general interested community participants.

Maker’s Space

The Maker’s Space is a newly launched project that is looking for all hands on deck! If you’re interested in helping get this project off the ground, fill out a form!

BIKE BUS

Wanna start a Bike Bus at your school? We have all the tools you need to be able to launch one with the help of other parents and faculty at the school!
